IndigeModels
A public archive of Indigenous-inspired 3D models

About the Project

This project began with a pretty simple frustration: every time I searched for “Native American” models to 3D print, all I found were tomahawks, teepees, or pan-indigenous stereotypes.

Rarely did it reflect my people and our history. So, I decided to make my own.

Through the support of the Center for Cultural Power’s Constellations Fellowship and Three Precious Miracles, I designed ten initial 3D-printable models inspired by O’otham people, places, and traditions.

I created these models under a Creative Commons License - they are meant to be freely shared, downloaded, and printed—by Community members, educators, and allies who want to explore and share our stories through technology.

Model Access and Use

  • All models are shared under a Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial license

    • (CC BY-NC)

  • I'll be adding original requests and further models as I develop them. Specialty software may be required for some models like the HueForge Portraits.

  • You can:

    • Download and print any model

    • Remix or adapt them (with attribution)

    • Use them in classrooms, homes, or community settings

  • You may not:

    • Sell them or use them commercially without permission

If you'd like a physical print and don’t have a printer, I’ve listed estimated printing costs—but you might find a local shop to do it cheaper. Feel free to CONTACT ME for more info.
